TAGINE SUPREME

Tagine Supreme is a bright tomato red nail polish shade.
It's bright, It's vibrant, It's the perfect Summer red!
I love it!

The formula is perfect! The polish is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. 
It isn't streaky or patchy and it self-levels well. 

It is so pigmented and builds up to full opacity nice and easily in one - two thin coats. 
With my nail polish application, there is no questioning it being a one coater. It's amazing! 


MARRAKESHED FROM A ROSE

Marrakeshed From a Rose is a chalky baby pink nail polish shade.
You can never go wrong with baby pink nails!

The formula is good. It's slightly patchy, which isn't uncommon with these kind of shades. 
The polish is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail nonetheless. 

It's pigmented, covers well and builds up to full opacity nicely in two - three thin coats. 


TELL MY FUCHSIA

Tell My Fuchsia is a bright fuchsia pink nail polish shade.
It looks like it has a the slightest "shimmer" scattered throughout it - the "shimmer" is so subtle it's not necessarily that visible, but the polish definitely doesn't look like a straight up fuchsia pink creme. Either way, I always love to wear this tone of pink!

The formula is fantastic! The polish is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. 
It isn't streaky or patchy and it self-levels well. 

It covers well and builds up to full opacity nice and easily in one - two thin coats depending on personal preference. 


MAGIC CARPET RIDE

Magic Carpet Ride is a bright baby blue nail polish shade.
Love! Love! Love!

The formula is great! The polish is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. 
It isn't streaky or patchy and it self-levels well.

It covers well and builds up to full opacity nice and easily in two thin coats. 


LAN-TURN UP

Lan-turn up is a shimmery metallic bronze nail polish shade.
It looks like it's made up of small bronze and silver shimmers - it's amazing!! 
I love these kind of polishes!

The formula is fantastic! The polish is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. 
It isn't streaky or patchy and it self-levels well. 

It covers well and builds up to full opacity nice and easily in two thin coats. 


MOROCCAN ROLL

Moroccan Roll is a burnt red nail polish shade.
It's such a unique shade of red. So pretty!
I can see it being a staple for Autumn / Fall. 

The formula is fantastic! The polish is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. 
It isn't streaky or patchy and it self-levels well. 

It covers well and builds up to full opacity nice and easily in one - two thin coats depending on personal preference. I personally think it looks best with two coats.

I am in love with this collection!
The colour selection is exotic and simply stunning - I am seriously getting European / Mediterranean vibes and loving it! 
The formulas are on point, they apply easily and beautifully, and dry shiny and relatively fast! No complaints here!

It's too hard to choose a favourite! They're all so pretty!

I definitely recommend checking this collection out for yourself!

OPI INFINITE SHINE ICELAND COLLECTION 2017 - SWATCHES & REVIEW

Infinite Shine is OPI's answer to gel nails with no UV / LED light, promising up to 10 days of lasting colour and mirror shine in 3 easy steps.  
Here's how it works - 

STEP 1: PRIME

Apply one thin coat of the OPI Infinite Shine Primer base coat to prepared nails (nails completely free of polish, oils, etc).

STEP 2: LACQUER

Apply two thin coats of your desired Infinite Shine colour shade - apply just like regular nail polish. 

STEP 3: GLOSS

Apply one thin coat of the OPI Infinite Shine Glossy top coat over the colour.

*APPLICATION TIPS: Apply thin coats of polish and ensure each coat is fully dry before applying the next coat.

THIS ISN'T GREENLAND

This Isn't Greenland is a pea-soup green nail polish shade. 
Quite unusual but it works. I think I actually like it!

The formula is great - it is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. 
It isn't streaky or patchy and self-levels well.

It builds up to full opacity nice and easily in two thin coats.

ONE HECKLA OF A COLOR!

One Heckla of a Color! is a greyed-out / muted lavender purple nail polish shade. 
Such a pretty shade of purple! I really like this one!

The formula is fantastic - it is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. 
It isn't streaky or patchy and self-levels well.

It builds up to full opacity nice and easily in two thin coats.

AURORA BERRY-ALIS

Aurora Berry-alis is a muted berry pink nail polish shade. 
I always enjoy these kind of shades. So pretty!

The formula is fantastic - it is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. 
It isn't streaky or patchy and self-levels well.

It builds up to full opacity nice and easily in one - two thin coats.

REYKJAVIK HAS ALL THE HOT SPOTS 

Reykjavik Has All the Hot Spots is a shimmery mauve metallic nail polish shade. 
I love a good metallic nail polish, but didn't think this specific colour would be my cup of tea. 
I think I like it though. It looks a lot darker on the nail then I was expecting. 

The formula is great - it is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. 
Minor brush strokes are evident when this is applied, so I highly recommend using the three-stroke-method of application to limit the appearance / amount of brush streaks.

It builds up to full opacity nice and easily in two thin coats.

LESS IS NORSE  

Less is Norse is a greyed-out / muted navy blue nail polish shade.
I am OBSESSED with this one! 

The formula is fantastic - it is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. 
It isn't streaky or patchy and self-levels well.

It builds up to full opacity nice and easily in two thin coats.

THAT'S WHAT FRIENDS ARE THOR

That's What Friends Are Thor is a chocolate brown nail polish shade. 
It's quite a flattering shade of brown. I like this one a lot!
I have to admit, my love for this one is partly for the name and thinking of babe Chris Hemsworth *drools*. 

The formula is fantastic - it is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. 
It isn't streaky or patchy and self-levels well.

It builds up to full opacity nice and easily in two thin coats.

I am really enjoying the unique colour palette of the Iceland collection. The formulas of the polishes I tried were practically perfect. Would definitely recommend!

I also quite like the Infinite Shine three-step system and did experience a longer-lasting manicure when using it. 

My personal favourites from the shades I have tried are; "One Heckla of a Color!", "Reykjavik Has All the Hot Spots" & "Less is Norse".
I am really keen to try "Turn On the Northern Lights" and "Check Out the Old Geysirs" which are also part of the Iceland collection.

GLITTERING ELEMENTS - SWATCHES & REVIEW

Glittering Elements is an Independent nail polish company specialising in unique glitter nail polish that are hand mixed in Australia.

TAINTED TWILIGHT

Tainted Twilight is a plum purple nail polish shade with a unique mix of pink and purple glitter flakes, as well as a gorgeous gold shimmer lightly scattered throughout it - SO PRETTY!

The formula is fantastic and the polish applies beautifully. 
It isn't streaky or patchy and it self-levels well. It also dries nice and smooth. 

It is completely opaque in two thin easy coats.


ABSOLUTELY FANTABULOUS

Absolutely Fantabulous is a bright pink nail polish shade with a beautiful pink, gold and blue shimmer lightly scattered throughout it - ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!

The formula is fantastic and the polish applies beautifully. 
It isn't streaky or patchy and it self-levels well. It also dries nice and smooth. 

It is completely opaque in two thin easy coats.

PLANET UNICORN

Planet Unicorn is a grey nail polish shade with a unique mix of multi-coloured glitter flakes and a gorgeous pink-purple shimmer lightly scattered throughout it - AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!! My swatch really does no justice!

The formula is fantastic and the polish applies beautifully. 
It isn't streaky or patchy and it self-levels well.It also dries nice and smooth.  

It is completely opaque in two thin easy coats.


WONDERLAND

Wonderland is a beautiful sky blue holographic nail polish shade with a gorgeous pink-purple shimmer lightly scattered throughout it - STUNNING!!!!!!

The formula is fantastic and the polish applies beautifully. 
It isn't streaky or patchy and it self-levels well. It also dries nice and smooth. 

It is completely opaque in two thin easy coats.


DARKNESS LOOMING 

Darkness Looming is an eggplant purple nail polish shade with a unique mix of pink and purple glitter flakes, as well as a gorgeous gold and blue shimmer lightly scattered throughout it - I AM OBSESSED!!

The formula is fantastic and the polish applies beautifully. 
It isn't streaky or patchy and it self-levels well. It also dries nice and smooth.  

It is completely opaque in two thin easy coats.

These are the first polishes from Glittering Elements that I have tried and I am so impressed! They're so beautiful and formula wise they're all literally flawless! 
These are seriously some of the best Indie nail polishes I have ever tried!

I definitely recommend trying them!
You will not regret it!

OPI INFINITE SHINE CALIFORNIA DREAMING COLLECTION 2017 - SWATCHES & REVIEW

The OPI California Dreaming collection is offered in both regular nail lacquer and Infinite Shine formulas.

Possibly one of the best nude nail polish formula's I have ever tried!

It covers amazingly well and builds up to full opacity nice and easily in two thin coats.

BARKING UP THE WRONG SEQUOIA

Barking Up the Wrong Sequoia is a neutral peach nail polish shade. 

The formula is fantastic - it is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. 

It isn't streaky or patchy and self-levels well.

It covers amazingly well and builds up to full opacity nice and easily in two thin coats.

EXCUSE ME, BIG SUR!

Excuse Me, Big Sur! is a blush pink nail polish shade.
A very flattering neutral I'm sure will appeal to many. 

The formula is fantastic - it is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. 

It isn't streaky or patchy and self-levels well.

It builds up to full opacity nice and easily in two thin coats.

TIME FOR A NAPA

Time For a Napa is a bright coral nail polish shade. 
It's eye-searingly bright my camera couldn't capture it accurately. Perfect summer shade!

The formula is almost crelly-like, but it is still easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. 

It builds up to full opacity nice and easily in two thin coats.

MALIBU PIER PRESSURE

Malibu Pier Pressure is a bright (almost neon) bubblegum pink nail polish shade. 
Love Love Love!

The formula is fantastic - it is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. 

It isn't streaky or patchy and self-levels well.

It is so pigmented and builds up to full opacity nice and easily in two thin coats.

GPS I LOVE YOU 

GPS I Love You is a bright magenta pink nail polish shade.
This one is right up my alley!

The formula is fantastic - it is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. 

It isn't streaky or patchy and self-levels well.

It is so pigmented and builds up to full opacity nice and easily in one - two thin coats.

ME, MYSELFIE & I

Me, Myself & I is a blood orange nail polish shade.

The formula is great - it is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. 

It isn't streaky or patchy and self-levels well.

It builds up to full opacity nice and easily in one - two thin coats.

SANTA MONICA BEACH PEACH

Santa Monica Beach Peach is a bright tangerine orange nail polish shade.

The formula is almost crelly-like, but it is still easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. 

It builds up to full opacity nice and easily in one - two thin coats.

TO THE MOUSE HOUSE WE GO!

To the Mouse House We Go! is a bright fire-engine red nail polish shade. 
I love this tone of red!

The formula is jelly-like, meaning it applies quite sheer onto the nail so the white nail tip is visible - it is totally manageable though and still easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail nonetheless. 

I found that the more coats of polish you apply, the more intense the colour gets. 
I personally think it looks best with two - three coats.
*The whiter your nail tip, the more coats of polish you will need to apply to cover your visible nail line. 

THIS IS NOT WHINE COUNTRY

This is Not Whine Country is a raspberry pink nail polish shade. So pretty!

The formula is semi-jelly-like, meaning it applies quite sheer onto the nail so the white nail tip is visible - it is totally manageable though and still easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail nonetheless. 

I found that the more coats of polish you apply, the more intense the colour gets. 

I personally think it looks best with two coats.
*The whiter your nail tip, the more coats of polish you will need to apply to cover your visible nail line. 

SWEET CARMEL SUNDAY

Sweet Carmel Sunday is a shimmery caramel bronze metallic nail polish shade. 
I am normally obsessed with these kind if shades but I'm a little undecided on this one. 
I think this particular tone might not suite my skin tone. It's so pretty though!

The formula is fantastic - it is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. Minor brush strokes are evident when this is applied, so I highly recommend using the three-stroke-method of application to limit the appearance / amount of brush streaks.

It builds up to full opacity nice and easily in two thin coats.

DON'T TAKE YOSEMITE FOR GRANITE

Don't Take Yosemite For Granite is a shimmery charcoal grey metallic nail polish shade. 
Now this one is unique! It's unusual but I think I like it!

The formula is fantastic - it is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. Minor brush strokes are evident when this is applied, so I highly recommend using the three-stroke-method of application to limit the appearance / amount of brush streaks.

It builds up to full opacity nice and easily in two thin coats.

Although the colours in this collection are nothing unseen before from OPI, I'd say these classic shades are definitely worth having in anyones collection. 

I honestly did not have high hopes for this collection as I had heard so many bad things about the formulas, BUT in my experience, the formulas of the collection were consistently good, even great! Their smooth and creamy formulas made them pleasantly easy to control and apply. They also build up to full opacity beautifully (even the crelly-jelly polishes built up quite nicely). So it's a thumbs up from me! 

I also quite like the Infinite Shine three-step system and did experience a longer-lasting manicure when using it. 

My personal favourites from this collection are; 'Feeling Frisco', 'Excuse Me, Big Sur!', 'Malibu Pier Pressure', 'GPS I Love You', 'This is Not Whine Country' & 'Don't Take Yosemite For Granite'.
