By Cindy Societal (By CS) is an up-and-coming Independently run Australian beauty brand specialising in 10-free, Vegan and Cruelty Free nail polish and nail water decals.

I have 4 introductory shades from the brand to review for you today :)
*Spoiler*: they are really really good!



CONNOISSEUR

Connoisseur is a deep ox-blood red nail polish shade. 
So Vampy and sexy! I love it!

The formula is perfect! The polish is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. 
It isn't streaky or patchy and self-levels well.

It's pigmented, covers beautifully and builds up to full opacity nice and easily in two thin coats. 


HAVING AN ARIEL MOMENT

Having an Ariel Moment is a really *really* pale / sheer pink (hardly even noticeable) nail polish shade with TONS of AMAZING gold-green lustre shimmers scattered throughout it. 
The shimmer is so reflective and blinding on the nails that it looks metallic.
OBSESSED with the colour AND the name! So Cool!

The formula is pure perfection! The polish is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. 
It isn't streaky or patchy and self-levels well.

It covers amazingly well and builds up to full opacity nice and easily in two - three thin coats.
(My swatch shows two thin coats, and it looks perfectly opaque to me, but I could see you potentially needing three coats if you have longer nails.)


GLACIER

Glacier is a powder blue nail polish shade with a silver pearlescent shimmer scattered throughout it. So lovely! A crowd pleaser for sure!

The polish is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. It isn't streaky or patchy and self-levels well. The formula is great - (much better than I was expecting, considering these kinds of colours tend to apply patchy and unevenly). 

It covers beautifully and builds up to full opacity nice and easily in two thin coats. 


SNOW ANGEL 

Snow Angel is a periwinkle blue nail polish shade with a silver pearlescent shimmer scattered throughout it. Very similar to Glacier, but with a hint of purple. So beautiful!

The formula is great! The polish is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. 
It isn't streaky or patchy and self-levels well.

It covers beautifully and builds up to full opacity nice and easily in two thin coats.

These are the first By Cindy Societal polishes that I have tried and I really liked them! 

The colours are beautiful, formulas are literally flawless, they're easily opaque, and apply effortlessly with the AMAZING wide brush (seriously obsessed with the brush more than anything!). They are vibrant on the nail, fast drying, and pretty chip-resistant - what more could you really want in a nail polish? The general quality of these polishes is exceptional!

I absolutely LOVE that By CS polishes are a healthier nail polish choice containing no nasty chemicals, are Vegan and Cruelty Free AND I also really like the concept of the nail polish being breathable.

By CS nail polish is available in an expanding range of pretty and on-trend colour options.
I can't wait to try out some more colours!

YOU OUGHTA KNOW

You Oughta Know is a deep blue metallic nail polish shade with a brighter blue-purple shimmer scattered throughout it. 
I have no words! It's STUNNING! I am OBSESSED!

The formula is fantastic!
This polish is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. It isn't streaky or patchy and it self-levels well. 

It builds up to full opacity nice and easily in one - two thin coats depending on personal preference. 
(It's opaque and looks fine with just one coat, but looks best with two, in my opinion).


ALL APOLOGIES

All Apologies is a vibrant magenta purple metallic nail polish shade with a brighter pink-purple shimmery flash scattered throughout it. 
Honestly thought this one looked disappointing in the bottle compared to the other two, but really enjoyed this on the nails. It's so pretty! It actually glows on the nails! My swatch does it no justice!

The formula is fantastic!
This polish is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. It isn't streaky or patchy and it self-levels well. 

It builds up to full opacity nice and easily in one - two thin coats depending on personal preference. 


LOSING MY RELIGION

Losing My Religion is a divine teal green metallic nail polish shade with a brighter green-gold shimmer scattered throughout it. 
I LOVE this one! Possibly my favourite! It's SO beautiful!

The formula is fantastic!
This polish is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. It isn't streaky or patchy and it self-levels well. 

It builds up to full opacity nice and easily in one - two thin coats depending on personal preference.

The I have tried quite a few different SCOUT vitamin-active and breathable nail polishes, and these have definitely got to be my favourites by far! 

The colours are stunning, vibrant and unique, and the formulas are amazing!

VANILLA SOFTSERVE

Vanilla Softserve is a stark white nail polish shade.
I love the look of a clean white manicure!

The formula is perfect! The polish is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail silky smooth. It isn't streaky or patchy and self-levels well. 
It's seriously the best white nail polish I have ever tried! 

It's extremely pigmented, covers amazingly well and builds up to full opacity nice and easily in one - two thin coats! One coat is perfectly opaque and wearable, but I personally prefer the look of two coats. 

PISTACHIO GELATO

Pistachio Gelato is a pastel sky blue nail polish shade. 
Absolutely beautiful! I am sure this one will be a crowd pleaser. 

The formula is fantastic! The polish is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. 
It isn't streaky or patchy and self-levels well.

It covers really well and builds up to full opacity nice and easily in two thin coats. 


BLUEBERRY BUTTERCREAM

Blueberry Buttercream is a lavender purple nail polish shade.
Such a pretty shade of purple!

The formula is fantastic! The polish is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. 
It isn't streaky or patchy and self-levels well.

It covers really well and builds up to full opacity nice and easily in one - two thin coats. 


PINK ICED CRÉME

Pink Iced Créme is a delicate pink nail polish shade. 
I love how feminine this looks on the nail.

The formula is kind of crelly-like but builds up nicely.
Considering the type of polish this is and the typical formula associated with these kinds of shades, this formula is quite possibly the best I have ever tried - it applies effortlessly and actually applies evenly! 
It isn't streaky or patchy and self-levels well.

It covers well and builds up to full opacity nice and easily in two - three thin coats.
Apply one single coat for a beautiful and clean manicured look.

These are the first polishes I have tried from Nail'd at Tiffany's and I really liked them.

The colours are beautiful, the formulas are literally flawless, and the quality is amazing! They are vibrant on the nail, fast drying, and pretty chip-resistant - what more could you really want in a nail polish?

I absoulety love that Nail'd at Tiffany's polishes are a healthier nail polish choice containing no nasty chemicals, and really like the concept of the nail polish being breathable. Plus the recyclable and eco-friendly bamboo bottle caps are seriously the cutest.

Strawberry Fields Forever is a pastel baby pink nail polish shade. So pretty!

The formula is great, especially for the kind of colour it is 
- pastel pink shades are notoriously known for having bad formulas!
This polish is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. 
It isn't streaky or patchy and it self-levels well. 

It builds up to full opacity nice and easily in two - three thin coats. 
It dries quickly and to a matte finish. My swatch shows it with a coat of glossy top coat. 


 CAPRICORN DREAMER 

Capricorn Dreamer is a pastel lilac purple nail polish shade.
Love this one! I'm sure this will appeal to many.

The formula is great!
This polish is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. 
It isn't streaky or patchy and it self-levels well. 

It builds up to full opacity nice and easily in two thin coats. 
It dries quickly and to a matte finish. My swatch shows it with a coat of glossy top coat. 


 PEACH PONY 

Peach Pony is an pastel apricot / peach orange nail polish shade. 
I don't normally wear polishes that are this orange toned, but this will have to be an exception. 
I really like this one!

It isn't streaky or patchy and it self-levels well. 

It builds up to full opacity nice and easily in two - three thin coats. 
It dries quickly and to a matte finish. My swatch shows it with a coat of glossy top coat.

SURRENDER YOURSELF

Surrender Yourself is a violet purple nail polish shade. 
Totally digging this shade of purple! It's perfect for this time of year!

The formula is good. It's a little sheer (almost crelly-like), but it is still easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. It applies slightly patchy, but it self-levels well. 

It builds up to full opacity nicely in two - three thin coats depending on personal preference and application. 


ETERNAL FLAME

Eternal Flame is a crimson red nail polish shade.
There's something just so sexy about this shade of red.

The formula is perfect! It is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail. 
It isn't streaky or patchy and it self-levels well. 

It builds up to full opacity nice and easily in one - two thin coats depending on personal preference.
