OPI INFINITE SHINE LISBON COLLECTION 2018 - SWATCHES & REVIEW

Ola!
Travel to the City of Light with the new OPI Lisbon collection!
Inspired by Portugal's capital, a city brimming with culture, charm, beauty and fashion; the OPI Lisbon collection offers colourful, bright, vibrant and on-trend hues that perfectly encapsulate Lisbon's eclectic street style.

The Lisbon collection is offered in both regular nail lacquer and Infinite Shine formulas. Infinite Shine is OPI's answer to gel nails with no UV / LED light, promising up to 11 days of lasting colour and mirror shine in 3 easy steps.
Here's how it works -

STEP 1: PRIME
Apply one thin coat of the OPI Infinite Shine Primer base coat to prepared nails (nails completely free of polish, oils, etc).

STEP 2: LACQUER
Apply two thin coats of your desired Infinite Shine colour shade - apply just like regular nail polish.

STEP 3: GLOSS
Apply one thin coat of the OPI Infinite Shine Glossy top coat over the colour.

*APPLICATION TIPS: Apply thin coats of polish and ensure each coat is fully dry before applying the next coat.

I have all 12 OPI Lisbon Infinite Shine shades to review for you today :)

SUN, SEA AND SAND IN MY PANTS
Sun, Sea and Sand in My Pants is an egg-yolk yellow nail polish shade.
Not your typical primary yellow shade. I don't have anything else like it in my collection.

The formula is ok - yellow nail polish is known for its notoriously bad formula, this one doesn't have the best formula, nor the worst. The polish is easy to apply, effortlessly glides onto the nail and self-levels well.

It's pigmented and builds up to full opacity nicely in two - three thin coats depending on personal preference.

SUZI CHASES PORTU-GEESE
Suzi Chases Portu-geese is a stark white nail polish shade.
It has the slightest pink tone to it. I really like this one!

The formula is really good for the type of colour it is.
The polish is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail.
It isn't streaky or patchy and it self-levels well.

It's pigmented, covers well and builds up to full opacity nice and easily in two - three thin coats depending on personal preference and application.

MADE IT TO THE SEVENTH HILL!
Made It To the Seventh Hill! is a rose gold metallic nail polish shade with a pink duo-chrome flash. It's beautiful!

The formula is really good.
The polish is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail.
It isn't streaky or patchy and it self-levels well.

It covers well and builds up to full opacity nice and easily in two thin coats.
Slight brush strokes are evident when this is applied, so I highly recommend using the three-stroke-method of application to limit the appearance / amount of visible brush strokes.

YOU'VE GOT NATA ON ME
You've Got Nata On Me is a salmon-peach nail polish shade.
It's very pretty!

The formula is great.
The polish is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail.
It isn't streaky or patchy and it self-levels well.

It covers well and builds up to full opacity nice and easily in two thin coats.

LISBON WANTS MOOR OPI
Lisbon Wants Moor OPI is another white nail polish shade.
This one is slightly more neutral and has more of a nude tone to it compared to Suzi Chases Portu-geese. It's very nice!

The formula is good for the type of colour it is.
The polish is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail.
It isn't streaky or patchy and it self-levels well.

It covers well and builds up to full opacity nice and easily in two - three thin coats depending on personal preference and application.

TAGUS IN THAT SELFIE!
Tagus in That Selfie! is a baby pink nail polish shade.
It looks just like strawberry ice cream to me.
I am obsessed with this one!

The formula is great.
The polish is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail.
It isn't streaky or patchy and it self-levels well.

It covers well and builds up to full opacity nice and easily in two - three thin coats.

NO TURNING BACK FROM PINK STREET
No Turning Back From Pink Street is a bright magenta pink nail polish shade.
Love it! These kinds of pinks are always right up my "street" ;)

The formula is perfect! It is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail.
It isn't streaky or patchy and it self-levels well.

It's pigmented, covers well and builds up to full opacity nice and easily in one - two thin coats depending on personal preference.

WE SEAFOOD AND EAT IT
We Seafood and Eat It is a bright (almost neon) crayfish red nail polish shade.
I just love this one - the name, the colour, everything!

The formula is perfect! It is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail.
It isn't streaky or patchy and it self-levels well.

It's pigmented, covers well and builds up to full opacity nice and easily in one - two thin coats depending on personal preference.

NOW MUSEUM, NOW YOU DON'T
Now Museum, Now You Don't is a burnt / rusty orange metallic nail polish shade with a cool red flash to it. I don't tend to like orange toned nail polish but really enjoy this one! I don't have anything else like it in my collection!
I also really like the name of this one. Can we just take a minute and praise OPI for the awesome polish names in this collection - well done OPI, big thumbs up!

The formula is great.
The polish is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail.
It isn't streaky or patchy and it self-levels well.

A RED-VIVAL CITY
A Red-vival City is a bright orange-red nail polish shade.
It's a good one, but nothing special.

It isn't streaky or patchy and it self-levels well.

It's pigmented, covers well and builds up to full opacity nice and easily in one - two thin coats depending on personal preference.

TILE ART TO WARM YOUR HEART
Tile Art to Warm Your Heart is a cobalt blue nail polish shade.
A pretty standard blue shade that we've seen before, but it's a good one.

The formula is perfect! It is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail.
It isn't streaky or patchy and it self-levels well.

It's extremely pigmented*, covers well and builds up to full opacity nice and easily in one - two thin coats depending on personal preference.
*I was expecting it to stain my nails blue when I wore it, so I wore two coats of base coat - It didn't stain me, but I would still wear a couple of coats of base coat, since it's so pigmented, just to be safe :)

CLOSER THAN YOU MIGHT BELÉM
Closer Than You Might Belém is a sea green-teal nail polish shade.
Haven't seen a shade like this from OPI in a long time.
I'm sure this one will be crowd pleaser - and for good reason, it's beautiful!

The formula is great.
The polish is easy to apply and effortlessly glides onto the nail.
It isn't streaky or patchy and it self-levels well.

I am really enjoying the colour palette of the Lisbon collection.
The formulas of the polishes in this collection were generally good, I had no issues with application, and they build up to opacity beautifully.
I also really enjoy the Infinite Shine three-step system and do experience substantially longer-lasting manicures when using it.
Would definitely recommend!

I really like every shade in the Lisbon collection, but my personal favourites are; "Suzi Chases Portu-geese", "Tagus in That Selfie!", "No Turning Back From Pink Street", "We Seafood and Eat It", "Now Museum, Now You Don't" & "Closer Than You Might Belém".

I am sure there is a shade in this collection for everyone!
Transform your nail polish collection and try the new OPI Lisbon collection for yourself!
